About

We are not Perfect. We are honest. We are proud of our business and our products because we create value for our customers, we open up markets and amazing opportunities for our suppliers, we promote traditional crafts and we support local economies. Our rings aren't made in a factory. Every piece of jewellery we make is unique. Every piece is hand-crafted, every piece has a story...Yes, we only work in precious metals, so when you buy a piece from us it will only increase in value over time...but when you buy a piece of jewellery from us you become part of the Story. You are not just a customer to us anymore, and you do not just own a piece of jewellery. You make a new connection. We invite you to come visit us, eat with us, we'll show you around our city and we can even introduce you to the craftsmen who made your piece. We are Different! Make a Difference!

The idea for our business is simple - we want to create something profitable and lasting...therefore, it has to be sustainable, ethical and we have to love doing it…

We believe we can offer more than the average jewellery shop, more than the average big chain store. If we create the right products, with the right character and quality and price, we can compete with those stores on that basis alone. But we offer more...when you buy a piece from us, you become part of the story. You make a connection that is not possible with the other stores. Your purchase has far more meaning to us and with us.

Our craftsmen and women have been making traditional jewellery here in Cambodia since time began. We offer them a new challenge - not only to produce our designs, but to compete on the world stage. Each ring is hand-crafted made soley by one individual. Sometimes you can see the signs of your piece being hand-crafted. We believe these only add to the overall character of the piece (Wabi Sabi). We check each piece individually for design and craftsmanship.

We do not employ people. There are no sweatshops, no slave labor in our business. We engage independent local craftsmen and women and other suppliers at market rates. We believe this is the most ethical and sustainable model. We have established trusting and productive relationships with all our suppliers and we would not hesitate to introduce any of them to you.

We love doing it! I have a long history with Cambodia. It's like my second home. I speak the language, I have many friends here, and I have traveled all over the country. Anything I do here is still like an adventure to me. The people are friendly and respectful, the culture is strong, the food spicy, and the weather hot...just the way I like it! After a 10-year relationship with this country that is not that much bigger than Tasmania, I am still continuing to make new discoveries.
